Itinerary
8:00 - 8:30 am: Pick up at your hotel in central Ho Chi Minh City (District 1).
8:30 am: Begin your two-hour journey to the Mekong Delta, one of the regions that possess the most magnificent paddy fields in Vietnam.
10:30 am: Visit coconut island and local workshops.
Visit unique local workshops where you are going to see how local people creates things such as Vietnamese rice paper and earn a living from those.
Mekong Delta is a fruit paradise where you can find numerous must-try tropical fruits, so we’ll meet a local family and taste fresh tropical fruits from their garden.
Take a sampan ride and paddle along the small canals that pass through the mangrove forests.
Let’s try to travel like a local by a sampan boat as this is a main means of transportation of the local people in Mekong Delta.
Have delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Take a short break and fill your tummy with Vietnamese food!
Walk or cycle around the village and make some spontaneous discoveries such as a visit to a local school.
You’ll find many interesting things in the Delta to explore and remember.
4:00 pm: Transfer you back to Ho Chi Minh city and end your memorable trip to Mekong Delta.
