Itinerary
8:00 - 8:30 am: Pick up at your hotel in Hoi An/Danang and head to My Son Sanctuary, which is 50 km from Hoi An ancient town.
Admire the lush scenery as you travel towards the atmospheric site of My Son Sanctuary.
9:30 am: Arrive at My Son sanctuary and start to explore the site.
Marvel at the picturesque setting of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed site right at the entrance.
Be mesmerized by the prosperous past of towering temples and tombs dating back to the period from 7th and 14th century. Though many scientists have been conducting research for years, they haven’t known the secret of how Cham people made bricks and built towers.
The total number of buildings are more than 70 including small, normal, and large towers. My Son Sanctuary truly is the religious and cultural center of the Champa Ancient Kingdom.
11:30 - 12:30 pm: After visiting My Son, make your way to Cau Lau boat station and take a boat ride on the Thu Bon river to Kim Bong carpentry village.
Here, you will get to explore one of the region's most famous traditional villages, which has built buildings in Hoi An since 16th century.
12:30 - 1:00 pm: Enjoy authentic Vietnamese lunch at a local restaurant.
2:00 pm: Transfer back to your hotel in Hoi An/ Danang and end your tour to My Son Sanctuary.
