Itinerary

As this is a private tour, the following itinerary for Cu Chi Tunnels is 100% flexible. You can let me know your preferences and I will customize the trip accordingly!

Pickup

I will pick you from your location with your private driver. The journey is about 90 minutes from Ho Chi Minh City.

Activities

Visit the War Remnants area

Everything about the war is put on display. Behind this area is an area with mini models of Vietnam landmarks such as Hoang Sa and Truong Sa island, Sai Gon bridge, One Pillar Pagoda, etc.

Explore the whole underground complex of tunnels

You will get to watch a documentary film about the history and construction behind the tunnels. You will also get a chance to crawl through the tunnels yourself, which have been enlarged for Western travelers.

Try real fireshooting, listen to local stories, and taste local dishes

During the whole trip, I will share with you insights and stories about the Vietnam War from a Vietnamese perspective. If you feel a bit adventurous, we can try fireshooting, at an affordable extra cost. Another thing that you don't want to miss is the local cuisine! Cu Chi is famous for several delicious dishes such as tapioca, cassava, grilled rice paper, etc.

Departure

I will drop you off at wherever you want in the city.

Great! Nothing to complain about. I had always wanted to visit Cu Chi Tunnels, so this was an amazing experience for me. Xuan was very nice and gave us a lot of information about the history of the area. On our way there, had a fun stop at a rice paper-making farm, where we got to try making the rice paper impossible and feeding some of the biggest... Read more

Great tour! Definitely worth seeing if you're in Ho Chi Minh city. The history and tunnels are interesting and Vi was really knowledgeable. The tunnels are extremely hot and small, just heads up if you are claustrophobic, but it's very easy to exit after the 1st 20 meters. Although it's weekend, the tunnels were not crowded as I thought they might... Read more

Good day out with experienced guide, Vi. Day starts early to ensure sufficient time to get through the agenda. Recommended to see key landmarks and the CuChi tunnels all within a day. We could customize anything in the itinerary. Since I can't eat meat, Vi took us to a restaurant serving tons of dishes made with seafood. It's super tasty!

Still have question?

How do I book on Inspitrip?

There are two options: Small Group and Private tour. For both options, you can chat with your local guide and other people in your group even before the trip takes place.
  • Small group tour: operates with a maximum of 8 people. If you like to make new friends, this is a great option. You would pay for the trip to confirm your slot, then join a chat group with your local guide as well as fellow travel buddies, everything would be on Inspitrip. Get to know them!
  • Private tour: maximizes your privacy and allows you to freely customize the itinerary. First, request to communicate any specific needs you may have, wait a couple minutes for these requests to be confirmed, and then you can proceed to payment.

What does my payment cover?

Your payment for this trip covers private transportation, a fluent, English-speaking guide, lunch, entrance fees, bottled water, fruit tasting, and all activities. Personal expenses such as extra food, drink, and tips are not included.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Our cancellation and refund policy is simple: if for any reason the tour cannot take place, you will get a full refund. We believe that this is the fairest way to ensure our travelers are happy.

Does the Small Group option still operate if there are less than 8 people signed up?

Yes, even if you are the only person who signs up for the trip on a given date, the tour will still take place.

My question is not listed here. What should I do?

Check our Frequently Asked Questions page or you can also email us at team@inspitrip.com. We are happy to help!
