Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay (lunch & dinner included)
08:00: Around 8:00, our shuttle bus will pick you up at your hotel in the center of Hanoi.
12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau International Passenger Port.
12:45: Boarding on Bhaya Classic cruise. Enjoy welcome drinks while our Cruise Manager does the itinerary and safety briefing.
13:00: Let the vacation begin with a tasty lunch while the boat cruises towards the southwest of Halong Bay.
15:00: Discover the mysterious Tien Ong Cave.
17:00: Bar opens for the Happy Hour "Buy one get one free". Take the chance to get more delicious drinks and fun.
17:30: Take part in our “Master-Chef Competition” and fruit carving demonstration, learn and try your hands with authentic Vietnamese food. The winner or the Master-Chef of Cruise would be awarded surprising gifts. It's also time to admire the sunset over enchanting Halong Bay while the boat anchors for an overnight stay.
19:00: Enjoy set-menu dinner on board while your Cruise Manager introduces the following day program.
21:00: Retire to your cabin or join our staffs for squid fishing. Overnight on board.

Day 2: Halong Bay (breakfast, lunch, dinner included)
06:30: Start off your day with a Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck with complimentary tea and coffee being served. Enjoy dawn on the bay.
07:00: Full breakfast is served onboard. The boat weighs anchor to sail to Hang Trai Island.
08:45: Transfer to Bhaya Spirit (day boat) for the second day's activities.
09:00: Bhaya Spirit will pass by Ang Du area, Hang Du, Kong Skull Island filming area to reach Coc Cheo Islet area. Kayaking and swimming freely in Coc Cheo Islet area - a less touristic and more private area.
11:00: Back to the boat, Bhaya Spirit takes you to a floating pearl farm for a special local lunch experience, while the boat passes Ho Ba Ham Area, Ba Men Temple, But Island, Me Cung Cave. Discover around to learn about pearl cultivating and handicraft process and local life in Ha Long Bay with our tour guide.
12:30: Lunch is served on floating farm with authentic Vietnamese style menu.
15:00: Come back to Bhaya Classic cruise and relax.
17:00: Bar opens for the Happy Hour "Buy one get one free", enjoy relaxing time on the sundeck.
19:00: Enjoy set-menu dinner onboard while Cruise Manager introduces itinerary for the next day.
21:00: Enjoy a movie at restaurant area or join with our staffs for squid fishing. Overnight on board.

Day 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi (breakfast & lunch included)
06:15: Take part in Tai Chi lesson on the sundeck with complimentary tea and coffee.
07:00: Light breakfast is served onboard. The boat weighs anchor to sail to Cua Van floating village.
07:45: Take your time to visit the village. You can choose either kayak or traditional rowing boat to go around discovering local life on the waters.
09:00: Return to your boat and relax. Enjoy the brunch in the restaurant.
10:45: Disembark at Tuan Chau International Passenger Port.
12:00: Transfer back to the pier by tender.
16:00: You will arrive at your hotel or original meetup location.

  • Passport is required at check-in.
  • Inclement weather, tide levels and operating conditions at sea may force changes in cruise itinerary and schedule at any time. Kayaking and swimming excursions, in particular, may be canceled due to rough weather.

We booked the Halong cruise a few days in advance on a whim. It was a little more expensive than some other options, but it was totally worth it! Tom was great. We’d definitely consider coming back again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi! Great value for the price!

How do I book on Inspitrip?

The Bhaya Classic cruise is 4-star cruise can take up to 48 passengers, so you can join with other people and make new friends. To confirm your slot, please make payment first, then join a group chat on Inspitrip website to greet your local guide as well as fellow travel buddies!

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellation is free if you cancel more than 07 days before the trip date. If the cancellation takes place between 04 to 07 days before the trip, you will receive a 50% refund. For trips cancelled in less than 04 days before trip date, no refund will be made.
We believe that this is the fairest way to ensure that both our travelers and local guides are happy. In case the trip is cancelled due to weather, you will receive a full refund.

What should I prepare before the trip?

  • First, you will be requested to send personal information in order to appropriately register your cruise with the port authorities, and if such information is missing or incorrect we cannot guarantee your permission to board.
  • Please bring with you all personal items and necessities for the 3 days that you are going to be on the cruise. Keep in mind the activities you expect to take part in as you pack your luggage. Suggested items: sunscreen, swim gear, warm clothes (for trips from Dec to Feb).

What is the policy on cruising while pregnant?

We regretfully have to refuse who have entered their 37th week of pregnancy by the beginning of the cruise. Please advise us how far along (in weeks) your pregnancy is and confirm that you are in good health and are not experiencing a high-risk pregnancy. Besides this, please also inform us of your pregnancy in order for us to take good care of you. We strongly recommend you review your health insurance coverage before Halong Bay cruise.

Do you have security onboard?

Yes, we have 24h security on board. The Captain and Cruise Manager are the Security Officers and you are welcome to ask about personal safety ashore or while cruising. Furthermore, jewelry and other valuables can be deposited in the safety deposit box at the Reception Desk. There are no safes in the cabins or suites.

What are the banned items onboard?

Please leave any questionable items at home. No weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosive devices and illegal drugs will be allowed onboard. This policy is to ensure your comfort and worry-free vacation so we strongly encourage your compliance.

Do you have medical service or doctor onboard?

There are no onboard doctors as part of the crew. However, all vessels are equipped with First Aid Kits and a basic medicine supply. Please ensure you bring adequate supplies of prescription medications to cover the duration of your trip. We also recommend you bring medicines for colds, fever, and diarrhea. Of course, we hope you will not need them, but it is always better to be prepared. If a serious medical emergency require assistance from onshore, we will take you back to the pier within one (01) hour. If you or one of your cruise companions is feeling ill, please inform the Reception Desk immediately.
In case of urgency, our tender can return to pier to take you to the nearest hospital within 01 hour. The whole boat can also return to pier within 02 hours.

Are all life boats and vessels available?

Yes, the life boats are located on the Sundeck; each accommodates a maximum of 12 people. Besides this, life vests are available in each cabin, under your bed, in the dining area under your chairs, and in the tender boat; so please check for those once on board. Travelers are recommended to wear a life jacket for all excursions, kayaking and swimming activities.

What is the safety procedure onboard in case of emergency?

Your safety is our number one priority. In case of emergency, please put on the life vest and gather at the reception area. Follow the instructions of the cruise manager or chief purser. Your cabin is also equipped with a hammer for breaking the window and an emergency lamp. Tender boats and life boats are ready and there are enough places provided for all passengers.

What dining options are offered on board?

All meals aboard are prepared by our qualified local Vietnamese chefs under the guidance of our European management team. The schedule for meals is as following:
  • Buffet lunch: 1pm – 2pm
  • Set-menu dinner: 7pm – 9pm
  • Buffet breakfast: 7am – 9:30am
Our restaurant offers Vietnamese seafood and international dishes and accommodates a maximum of 40 travelers, no reservations required. A kid’s menu is available upon advance request.
The cruise also offers: tea, coffee, soft drinks, fruit juices, mock tails, cocktails, beers, spirits and wine.
Bhaya Classic cruise does not offer an in-room dining service due to the limited space in the cabins, but private dinners or theme parties are possible upon request and are subject to extra charges. You should advise Bhaya Classic cruise of any special food preferences, allergies or dietary requirements at least one (01) week prior to your cruise.

What type of special meal do you offer onboard?

We make every effort to accommodate our travelers' dietary requirements whenever possible. The cruise can accommodate dietary needs such as: vegetarian meals (including Indian-style vegetarian), halal cuisine, and baby food as per your request. All you have to do is notify us at least one (01) week prior to your cruise. Please note that infant formula is not provided on board.

What is the Smoking Policy onboard?

For the comfort and enjoyment of all our travelers, smoking is NOT allowed in any of the vessel’s interior spaces. However, smoking is permitted in the sheltered external areas designated for smoking, on the Sundeck, the open balcony and other boat decks on port and starboard. Smoking is permitted on open decks but not near open doors, windows, hatches or ventilation intakes, the petrol storage tank, kitchen area, dining area and the bars. A traveler must be at least 18 years of age to purchase, possess or use tobacco products onboard. Cigarettes, cigars and pipe tobacco must always be properly disposed of and never thrown overboard.
